About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assisting in the overall workflow of operations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Operate and control machinery and equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques to minimize damage and loss.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during operations.
Work closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure the timely completion of projects.
Assist in training new operators and team members on equipment operation and safety practices.
Maintain accurate data entry for time keeping, job costing, and MRP job tracking.
Basic setting up of equipment for new production jobs.
Materials management – request materials required to maintain productivity.
