About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator. This role involves preparing and operating printing press equipment, performing maintenance, and ensuring quality standards are met. Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.

Ability to read and understand job instructions and specifications.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
Frequently required to move inside the facility.
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity.
Check plates for correct format.
Visually inspect forms throughout the run to ensure quality standards are met.
Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize work as needed to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
Maintain knowledge of and follow all safety requirements for the job and equipment.
