About The Position

Safely operate and/or have the ability to operate various equipment including forklift, bobcat, backhoe, track hoe, compactor and/or steer equipment to bale, load and move waste material.

Requirements

  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely handle and operate various equipment—including forklifts, bobcats, backhoes, track hoes, compactors, and skid steers—to bale, load, and move waste material.
  • Daily Maintenance: Perform pre-trip inspections and daily maintenance checks. Grease, lubricate, and top off fluids daily to keep the equipment running smooth.
  • Site Groundkeeping: Clear trash and debris from heavy equipment tracks and gears at least once daily. Maintain the overall appearance of the facility grounds.
  • Team Communication: Use a two-way radio to stay in constant contact with dispatch, yard crews, and management regarding daily priorities and safety.
  • Flexibility: Be ready to step in and substitute for other equipment operators to keep the site moving when needed.
  • Safety First: Follow all company safety procedures, federal/state regulations, and wear required PPE (safety shoes, high-visibility gear, and eye protection) at all times.
