Equipment Operator
About The Position
Waste Connections is currently hiring an Equipment Operator to join our team at the White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA . In this role, you’ll be operating heavy machinery such as trackhoes, compactors, off-road dump trucks, and tractors. Other responsibilities include acting as a spotter, maintaining cleanliness around the facility, pulling and compacting trash, and hauling dirt. This job requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pay: $21 to $22 per hour (depending on experience). Why Join Waste Connections?
