About The Position

We seek a reliable, mechanically inclined Equipment Operator to join our mulch manufacturing team. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who understands heavy equipment, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently.

Requirements

Prior experience operating heavy equipment required
Strong mechanical aptitude (ability to diagnose and fix minor equipment issues)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor setting in varying weather conditions
Able to work some labor duties.
Dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused
Willingness to work a Monday–Saturday schedule
Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing, landscaping materials, or similar environment preferred
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful .

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders (Volvo L90), excavators, grinders, and dye machines
Keeping yard area neat and organized.
Some labor work will be involved.
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent, high-quality mulch output
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime
Load, move, and process raw materials safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Loading customer and commercial vehicles.
