About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator in our North Mankato-MN facility. This role involves preparing and operating printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards. The position requires performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output, preparing inks for proper color and consistency, and checking paper for type, size, color, and quantity. The operator will also check plates for correct format, visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality, and coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, reorganizing as necessary to meet deadline changes and updates. Maintaining knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment is also essential. The role may involve operating various machines including Palletizer, Surface Mount II, Printer 1-2 color, Machine II, Packaging II, Folding, Cutter-Programs, and Photocopy multicolor (Ink or Toner).

Requirements

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail
High degree of mechanical ability
Good reading ability
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities
