About The Position

Denali Water Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Windrow Turner Operator to support daily composting and material management operations. This position requires an experienced heavy equipment operator who is comfortable operating a variety of equipment, including a windrow turner, skid steer, tractor, and front-end loader. The ideal candidate thrives in outdoor environments and can work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience required.
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety procedures and daily maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating windrow turners, loaders, tractors, skid steers, or similar equipment preferred.
  • Experience in composting, agriculture, landscaping, waste management, or related industries is preferred.
  • CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a windrow turner to manage and maintain compost windrows according to operational requirements.
  • Safely operate heavy equipment, including: Windrow Turner, Skid Steer, Tractor, Front-End Loader
  • Monitor composting processes and assist with material movement, blending, and site maintenance.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and equipment logs as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with site cleanup and general facility upkeep.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
