About The Position
The Equipment Operator, Wet Utilities is responsible for excavating trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems. This role involves operating heavy machinery with precision, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining equipment. The operator will also manage quality control, production, and train team members. A strong understanding of underground utilities and the ability to work in various environments are essential.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
- Installs trench boxes as necessary
- Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures
- Ensure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed
- Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervals
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job
- Manage quality control and production
- Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner
