About The Position
We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation of fork trucks, front end loaders, vacuum trucks, metal drum shredder, excavator and a facility street sweeper. This position reports to the NHIW Manager and is responsible for the off-loading of box van trailers on shift, following all plant operating and safety procedures and policies. This position will also perform daily preventative maintenance tasks required for the upkeep and operation of various assigned equipment.
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Related industrial plant experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and follows all Reworld environmental compliance, health and safety requirements, policies, procedures, and rules
- Follow standard safety procedures.
- Corrects safety and environmental hazards and reports them to supervisor immediately
- Operates and completes all inspections on frontend loader
- Works overtime and/or rotating shifts as required
- Responsible for the off-loading of box van trailers on shift, following all plant operating and safety procedures and policies.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks required for the upkeep and operation of various assigned equipment.
