About The Position

Wonderful Citrus is North America’s leading integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus. This role involves operating trucks, mixing chemicals, and fuel delivery for farm operations at Wonderful Citrus orchards. Other duties may be required to support spray operations. The ideal candidate must have experience operating farm water trucks or other machinery, possess the ability to repair equipment, and follow detailed instructions from a Lead/Supervisor without close supervision. The role also requires the ability to work with teams on other special projects as needed.

Requirements

Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Have experience operating water truck or large farm equipment safely.
Lift and handle chemical bags up to 50 pounds.
Sit for long periods of time.
Operate equipment by releasing brake, shift gears, depress pedals, manipulate steering controls, read gauges.
18 Years of age or older

Experience operating farm water truck or other machinery.
Ability to repair equipment.
Ability to work with teams on other special projects as required.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to support spray operation requirements.
Transport water to areas of operation to fill spray tanks.
Mix chemicals to support spray operation requirements.
Fuel Delivery to support field operations and irrigation equipment
Proper recording of deliveries and transportation
Sets up and attach equipment as required.
Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels and mechanical fitness of equipment on daily basis.
Perform field level routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Sets up and attach equipment as required.
Drive, operate, adjust farming equipment in accordance to safe operating procedures.
Perform other tasks as required by the business.
