This is work responsible for operating and maintaining County vehicles, heavy equipment, and performing manual labor activities. Opportunities for overtime may be available and sometimes required. Overtime is at 1.5 times the employee's hourly rate after 40 hours worked in a week. This position requires a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) Class B at minimum, higher compensation is considered for a CDL Class A. If hired with a CDL Class B, employees are typically eligible for additional compensation after obtaining a CDL Class A.
