  • Constantly operators machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)

Responsibilities

  • Operate and control machinery and equipment, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques to minimize damage and loss
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during operations
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure the timely completion of projects
  • Assist in training new operators and team members on equipment operation and safety practices
  • Maintain accurate data entry for time keeping, job costing, and MRP job tracking
  • Basic setting up of equipment for new production jobs
  • Materials management – request materials required to maintain productivity
