Equipment Oiler - Bridger Coal Surface Mine, Point of Rocks, WY
About The Position
This position is responsible for safely and efficiently lubricating and providing routine service maintenance on surface mining heavy equipment and support equipment. The role involves checking fuel levels, fueling and greasing various types of heavy equipment in the field, and operating an Autocar truck to transport diesel fuel, bulk lube oil, and bulk grease. The Equipment Oiler will also inspect equipment before operation to ensure it is safe and operable, performing all duties in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies to meet budgeted goals in safety, cost, productivity, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of heavy equipment oiling experience.

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently lubricate and provide routine service maintenance on surface mining heavy equipment and support equipment.
- Check all fuel levels, fuel and grease scrapers, dozers, graders, haul trucks, loaders, backhoes and other equipment in the field.
- Operate an Autocar truck transporting diesel fuel, bulk lube oil and bulk grease to mobile equipment in the field.
- Inspect equipment before operating and ensure that it is in safe, operable condition.
- Perform all work in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies for the mine to meet its budgeted goals in safety, cost, productivity and environmental requirements.
