About The Position

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

Requirements

Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment
Proficiency with test and diagnostic equipment
Experience rebuilding manufacturing equipment
Ability to perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers
Experience troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor processing equipment
Experience performing preventive maintenance
Ability to give accurate and detailed pass downs of problems found and repairs performed
Experience updating and maintaining equipment logs and work orders in MES and CMMS
Experience working with equipment engineering and other cross functional groups
Experience assisting in equipment upgrades and the installation and startup of new equipment

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair semiconductor processing equipment
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with PM specifications
Give accurate and detailed pass downs of problems found and repairs performed
Update and maintain equipment logs and work orders in MES and CMMS
Work with equipment engineering and other cross functional groups in support of continuous improvement activities for availability, productivity, and yield enhancement.
Assist in equipment upgrades and the installation and startup of new equipment
