About The Position

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician to support its wafer fabrication facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The position involves maintaining and troubleshooting diffusion equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and an interest in development opportunities at a company that designs and manufactures high-performance analog semiconductors. This position is 100% onsite and follows a compressed work week: three 12-hour days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. one week and four days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available. Candidates must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access.

Requirements

Associate of Science or Associate of Arts degree in electrical or mechanical studies, military training, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
At least 5 years supporting diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000 and SVG VTR 6000/7000.
At least 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment and at least 5 years in equipment maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems and define and implement solutions.
Strong mechanical skills and demonstrable knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
Strong electronic skills, including the ability to understand and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Demonstrated knowledge of installing, operating, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical equipment.
Demonstrated knowledge of diagnosing, testing, and repairing equipment using electrical repair procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of SPC and how it is used and implemented in manufacturing.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities
