About The Position

HiFyve is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading Manufacturing company! This role involves performing preventative and routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing complex production equipment including CNC machines, lathes, servo motors, and other specialized machinery. The technician will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, and work with schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools. Responsibilities also include facility maintenance, record-keeping, housekeeping, LOTO procedures, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. The role requires independent work with collaboration, and support for additional maintenance projects.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment for Level 3 candidates.
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment for Level 4 candidates.
Advanced mechanical knowledge with experience servicing and repairing pumps, motors, shafts, bearings, and spindles.
Experience maintaining and repairing CNC equipment, servo motors, controls wiring, and programmable controllers.
Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, equipment manuals, and specifications.
Advanced experience using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic tools.
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and hazardous-energy isolation procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively under deadlines and pressure.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Level 4 candidates should have experience with PLC/CNC I/O mapping and control.
Intermediate understanding of manufacturing processes.
Willingness to participate in training and continued skill development.
Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to meet applicable employment eligibility and compliance requirements.

Technical training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
Diagnose and perform routine, emergency, and unscheduled repairs on CNC machines, lathes, servo motors, and other complex production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Install, maintain, and repair complex machinery, machine tools, and specialized production equipment.
Observe and test machinery using voltmeters, precision measuring instruments, and other diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions.
Service and repair mechanical components, including pumps, motors, shafts, bearings, and spindles.
Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics, machine manuals, technical specifications, and complicated drawings.
Plan repair procedures and machine, fabricate, fit, and align replacement parts as needed.
Perform power distribution troubleshooting and identify equipment component failures.
Map and control I/O, PLC, and CNC systems as required.
Perform facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
Record and track maintenance schedules and completed work.
Maintain proper housekeeping and support 6S initiatives.
Safely isolate hazardous energy and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Use a variety of hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with production and maintenance teams.
Support additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as assigned.
