Be part of a global leader shaping the future of biometric based technology. We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing facility's equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment types. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hardware maintenance
  • Proficient in the operation of one (1) service center production process
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to count quickly and accurately
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English as well as fill out simple forms
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old
  • High School Diploma required
  • Must be a sole US citizen without dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen as well as obtain any required program specific credentials and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Run jobs according to specific work instructions/Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Operate machine according to specifications and quality protocols
  • Meet productivity targets based on machine capacity and workload
  • Adhere to all department specifications and requirements
  • Ensure that all pre-determined quality and security standards are met
  • Complete accountability and auditing production forms for each job assigned
  • Work together with maintenance/production support to ensure minimum machine downtime
  • Perform basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) as trained and on a regular basis
  • Communicate any machine malfunctions or production delays to lead or supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with OSHA and company safety guidelines
  • Perform 5S at end of shift
  • Attend SIM meeting

Benefits

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $21.00/hr - $28.00/hr + benefits.
