About The Position

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician supporting our wafer fabrication facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. Requirements

AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
5+ years supporting Diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000, SVG VTR 6000/7000
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
Strong mechanical skills: Demonstrable knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems
Strong electronic skills: Understanding and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Demonstrated knowledge in how to approach installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
Demonstrated knowledge in diagnosing, testing, and repairing equipment by utilizing electrical repair procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
Must be able to lift 40lbs.
