Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist Team Lead to join the Paint Production Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication
  • 3+ years of experience preforming plant equipment and/or production equipment maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and interpreting schematics (preferably electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
  • 3+ year of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • 1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
  • 1+ year of formal or informal leadership experience
  • 1+ years of experience with 787 program operations

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ year of experience providing training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex tool setup activities (e.g., alignment, leveling).
  • Performs visual inspections on tools using appropriate documentation
  • Supervise the repairs and maintenance of Paint equipment and demonstrate experience in these areas
  • Provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment
  • Responds to service calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Follows safety procedures and regulations
  • Interprets basic electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
  • Utilizes a variety of hand and powered shop tools to repair equipment
  • Works with electrical systems and electronic components of industrial GSE equipment, following manuals, schematics, and other specifications
  • Ensures the operation of equipment by supervising and directing preventive maintenance and repairs to Paint equipment as needed
  • Follows the operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to maintain and troubleshoot malfunctions
  • Under general guidance, reviews customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities
  • May receive specialized equipment training
  • Provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment
