We’re looking for an Equipment Installation Project Manager who turns plans into reality. The Role: This isn’t a desk-bound project management position. As our Equipment Installation Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from planning through final commissioning, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll coordinate customers, subcontractors, technicians, vendors, and internal as well as external teams while serving as the driving force behind project execution. Projects range from truck scale installations and industrial weighing systems to concrete work, rigging operations, and large-scale equipment installations, often within active customer facilities where coordination, communication, and adaptability are critical. Success in this role requires equal parts leadership, organization, technical awareness, and field presence. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, solve problems as they arise, and ensure every project delivers an exceptional customer experience. What Success Looks Like (Day In The Life): On any given day, you might: Conduct a pre-installation meeting with a customer, electricians, concrete contractors, and crane operators to align schedules and expectations Visit an active job site to monitor progress, resolve field challenges, and keep work moving safely and efficiently Coordinate equipment deliveries, rigging services, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure installation sequencing stays on track Adjust project schedules in real time due to weather, site conditions, or customer operational requirements Review project costs, manage change orders, and identify opportunities to protect project margins Develop site layouts and project documentation to support installation planning Communicate project updates to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring everyone remains informed and aligned Partner with sales and service teams to ensure projects are scoped correctly and executed profitably Resolve unforeseen field issues while maintaining customer confidence and project momentum Verify installation quality, safety compliance, and readiness for final commissioning Over time, success looks like: Projects delivered on time and within budget Customers who trust UniFide CST to execute their most critical installations Strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders Safe, organized, and efficient job sites Consistent project profitability and margin performance Reliable project processes that improve execution across the organization A reputation for delivering exceptional customer experiences from start to finish Who You Are: You’re someone who: Takes ownership and accountability for project outcomes Hands-on and not afraid to jump in when needed Thrives in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and moving parts Enjoys being in the field and solving real-world problems Communicates confidently with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams Can balance customer expectations, project schedules, and financial objectives Thinks proactively, identifying risks before they become problems Is highly organized without losing sight of the bigger picture Leads through influence, coordination, and follow-through You likely bring experience in project management, construction management, industrial installations, field operations, equipment installation, or a related environment. Experience coordinating subcontractors, managing project budgets, and leading field execution will position you well for success.

Requirements

  • 3-7+ years of experience in construction, industrial, or equipment installation project management
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multi-trade job sites
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, sequencing, and cost control
  • The ability to run projects in the field, not just coordinate from a desk
  • Strong organization and adaptability

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with rigging, crane coordination, or site prep
  • Mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems background
  • Experience working in active manufacturing or processing environments
