About The Position

The Equipment Installation Field Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of kitchen equipment installers to successfully execute commercial foodservice equipment installation projects. This role serves as the on-site leader for assigned projects and acts as Kitchen King's primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process. The Equipment Installation Field Manager is accountable for ensuring projects are completed safely, professionally, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards. This includes coordinating daily field activities, directing labor resources, managing project workflow, resolving jobsite challenges, and maintaining clear communication with internal project teams and customers. In addition to project execution responsibilities, the Equipment Installation Field Manager is expected to develop, coach, and train installation team members, reinforcing best practices, safety requirements, technical skills, and company procedures. This role plays a critical part in maintaining installation consistency, improving field productivity, and fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment installation
  • Ability to lead teams and grow employees
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and cutsheets
  • Strong organizational skills, inclusive of time management
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of forecasting in order to project delivery dates and labor to complete tasks
  • 5 years experience in installation of Commercial Foodservice Equipment and Custom Stainless Steel

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Install experience preferred
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous TIG welding experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 2–4 installers on commercial kitchen equipment installation projects.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily installation activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and develop installers to improve technical skills, productivity, and professionalism.
  • Supervise the Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installer(s) and Lead Installer(s)
