About The Position

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various types of equipment to join our team as an Equipment Inspector. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. Equipment Inspectors function as part of the Operations Team and are responsible for performing equipment inspections and maintaining the equipment yard. In this role, you will: Inspect equipment for defects/damages and determine the safety of equipment being rent-ready Maintain Equipment Yard organization and flow ensuring proper placement Clean returned equipment and assisting with preparation of returning equipment to rental-ready Assist with loading and unloading of equipment with safety as a top priority.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 with a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Above average communication skills to include 2-way radios, phones, and email
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various types of equipment

Nice To Haves

• Strong organization skills not limited to parts, equipment, accessories, batteries, buckets, trailers, etc.
• Ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to self-motivate which is required to stay on track, maintain organization, and make continuous progress
• Ability to learn and obtain certification (if applicable) on proper equipment operation on various types of material handling and construction equipment
• General laborer experience
