About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Class B driver and service professional to safely transport material-handling equipment using a standard 26’ rollback while performing in-house inspections, adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a timely, cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate has basic mechanical aptitude, including the ability to identify wear and potential issues, perform routine checks, and complete light repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The successful candidate communicates clearly, handles customer requests professionally, and always works safely. Knowledge of the Louisville, KY area is a plus. This role involves local routes only—no overnight stays. Competitive pay based on experience and a benefits package are offered.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B license and ability to safely operate a 26’ rollback
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Must pass physical, background and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Louisville, KY area is a plus
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a standard 26’ rollback truck to transport, load, secure, and unload equipment for customers
  • Drive to customer sites and respond to service requests professionally and efficiently
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and service needs
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems according to established schedules and procedures
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment condition and service needs
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical specifications to determine repair methods
  • Replace worn, damaged, or defective components using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records, including preventive and corrective work performed
  • Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used during service activities
  • Coordinate with other technicians or team members for larger or more complex repairs
  • Support general equipment and facility upkeep to ensure reliable daily operations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with regulations and company procedures
  • Follow all company and customer safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all times
  • Drive and work safely while maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Adhere to established procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
