Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1-3+ years of TIG and/or MIG stainless steel welding and fabrication experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics.
Experience using fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, and cutoff wheels.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10%

Nice To Haves

Technical college degree, welding certificate, journeyman status, or related vocational training ideal.
Experience in food, beverage, or sanitary stainless steel manufacturing environments.
Sanitary welding certification or ability to obtain certification.
Previous experience with equipment installation, startup, and commissioning.
Forklift and overhead crane operating experience.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and fabrication machinery for cutting, shaping, grinding, drilling, and forming components.
Perform TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication to manufacture and assemble equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished equipment meets specifications and workmanship standards.
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely when moving materials and equipment.
Assist with small assembly projects and equipment preparation.
Support inventory control and ordering of fabrication parts and supplies.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Travel 5-10% to customer locations for equipment installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
