As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for studying equipment performance reliability, driving cost of ownership to optimized performance, and overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This role involves evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment, staying current with manufacturer updates, and collaborating with vendors to enhance equipment performance. You will use data to make improvements, compile and evaluate data for equipment specifications, and provide technical support to manufacturing, process engineering, and operations teams. Additionally, you will establish action plans for increasing uptime, define preventative maintenance schedules, manage projects for continuous improvement, and support fab projects related to safety, quality, and efficiency. Progress reports on tools, processes, and goals will also be a key part of this role.
