This role supports all Innovion process equipment and sites, working with maintenance staff and process engineering. The Equipment Engineer collaborates with vendors, second source part suppliers, machine shops, and OEM equipment makers to optimize equipment performance. Key responsibilities include driving retrofits and upgrades to maximize implanter performance, and working towards defectivity and cost-of-ownership reduction through continuous improvement programs. The position requires performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements. Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Requirements

BS Engineering or Some College and 10+ Years of Experience.
Previous experience in ion implantation or semiconductor equipment utilizing Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) technology; 5+ years preferred.
Language Fluency: Fluent in English Language, written & verbal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, energetic and self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies.
Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
Individuals will be and must be able to understand complex automated systems and human interactions.
Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
Comply with current and updated policies and procedures.
Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities

Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
