Equipment Engineer - Plasma
About The Position
As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost-effective for the manufacture of company products. This role also involves overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues, and studying equipment performance and reliability. You will establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process, provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, and define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Experience as an Equipment Engineer
- Familiarity with plasma equipment
- Ability to evaluate, select, and order equipment
- Skills in overseeing installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
- Ability to study equipment performance and reliability
- Capability to establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems
- Experience providing technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
- Ability to define and write preventative maintenance schedules
