About The Position

An equipment engineer is the doctor of equipments who is in charge of maintenance, warm-up and trouble-shooting for equipments of each module to improve the operation efficiency. An equipment engineer also plans and executes projects of analysis and defect detection.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Working closely with technician team including tool troubleshooting, training, and routine PM
  • Plan and perform preventative maintenance of eqp. with technician team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.
  • Troubleshoot tool issues of complex electric and mechanical systems to quickly diagnose and repair
  • Responsible for week/weekend for both on-call and on-site overtime if needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Initiative-driven with adaptable priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
  • Team player with leadership skills, able to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Goal-driven with experience in high-performing team cultures.
  • Quick to assimilate new technology.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex problems and addressing root causes.

Responsibilities

  • Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures
  • Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed
  • Become certified on a variety of tool types
  • Work with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals
  • Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.
