About The Position

Keeps buildings, offices, public areas or other assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. This role involves maintaining cleanliness across various areas including the main casino floors, hotel rooms, lobby, pool area, spa/salon, bingo hall, buffet, and assigned office spaces. Responsibilities include deep cleaning, carpet shampooing, floor scrubbing, waxing, and buffing. The position also requires effective communication with staff and other departments, safeguarding company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, monitoring the casino environment for safety, and working respectfully as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction and asset protection. Punctuality, professional attire, and personal cleanliness are expected. The role also includes deep cleaning of hotel rooms post-pest control treatment.

Requirements

• Requires some relevant work experience.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
• Must be flexible with work shifts and days off.
• Must be self – motivated, enthusiastic, and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.
• Must be confidential.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums and deep cleans main casino floors, hotel rooms, hotel lobby, hotel pool area, hotel spa/salon, bingo hall, buffet and assigned office areas.
• Assists in the shampooing of the carpet in both casino and the hotel.
• Sweeps and scrubs restroom floors.
• Shampoos carpet in offices and upstairs hallways in the east and main buildings.
• Strips, waxes and buffs the flooring.
• Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
• Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
• Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
• Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
• Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
• Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
• Responsible for the deep cleaning of hotel rooms that have been treated by pest control.
• Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
• Notifies supervisor of need for repairs.
• Ensures any chemicals used are properly labeled in accordance to MSDS information and company procedures.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
