About The Position

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is seeking an Equipment Coordinator to manage and organize equipment for training, matches, and team travel. This role involves preparing locker rooms, facilitating equipment requests, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of equipment areas. The Equipment Coordinator will also assist with apparel and equipment management for multiple teams and may be required to travel with the team for away matches.

Requirements

Ability to handle and lift average-weight objects up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand and/or walk for more than 4 hours per day.
Ability to work long, irregular hours and weekends as dictated by event schedules and project timetables.
Ability to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Organize and prepare player lockers with equipment before training.
Deliver equipment to the field before the start of training.
Collect and inventory all training equipment daily.
Wash all training kits immediately following training.
Maintain the organization and appearance of the equipment room, locker room, and common area.
Set up the team dressing room before each match.
Facilitate referee equipment requests.
Assist with accommodating visiting team equipment requests.
Prepare and transport all field equipment to the field before warm-up.
Organize and clean up team bench and locker room areas, including towels, equipment, water, and the fourth official’s table.
Wash game and warm-up kits.
Return boots to the training facility after home/road games.
Travel with the team for away matches (pre-season, regular season, playoffs, post-season).
Handle airport pick-up and drop-off of team bags and equipment.
Manage, organize, and inventory warehouse for multiple teams.
Organize the ordering process for toiletries, laundry, and locker room supplies.
