About The Position

Assist the Equipment Manager with Colorado based day-to-day equipment operations, including but not limited to, managing all gear for first team players and staff, daily setup and execution of training sessions, preparation for road trips and assisting the players and coaches with matchday preparations. Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in field or related field
  • High School or GED
  • 1+ years’ experience in field
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
  • Background in soccer preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to work successfully and professionally in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks at once
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment and work long, irregular hours including weekends, evenings.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to physical demands of training sessions
  • Understanding of inventory and stocking
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel
  • Licensed to drive in United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Equipment Manager in the ordering, inventorying, storing, distribution and heat pressing of all game, training and auxiliary gear for the Colorado Rapids first team
  • Support the set-up of the locker room and coaches locker room with the necessary training gear and auxiliary gear daily
  • Assist in pre-game locker room setup, in-game needs and post-game cleanup and laundry for the club’s games as assigned.
  • Manage individual player and coach ever-changing equipment and gear needs
  • In conjunction with Equipment Manager, help coordinate and execute daily training logistics and equipment needs
  • Coordinate with DSGP Grounds Crew and Fields personnel on the implementation of large-scale equipment used for training
  • Assist in the team’s laundry needs for all pre-season, regular and post-season trainings and games
  • Liaise with visiting team in market on laundry or training needs
