THE JOB: The Equipment and Maintenance Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising the maintenance and repair of company equipment and facilities. This bilingual professional (English and Spanish) will assist the Equipment & Maintenance Manager in overseeing departmental operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company policies while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Assist in managing and overseeing daily departmental operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Assist in planning, scheduling, and controlling preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and facilities. Assist in supervising and supporting maintenance staff, providing direction, guidance, and performance feedback. Assist in administering parts and inventory management, including requests, purchases, vendor contracts, and equipment warranties. Assist in monitoring and analyzing fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, parts usage, and inventory reports. Assist in reviewing and validating information in maintenance software (FleetMate) and contribute to the development and improvement of operational processes. Assist in conducting financial analysis and assist in budget preparation and strategic decision-making. Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
