About The Position

The Equipment Maintenance Manager will be assigned to the Special Warfare Training Wing (SWTW) at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, supporting training and development of the Air Force’s (AF) future SW Airman, who are organized, trained, and equipped to deliver distinctive expertise in combat and other high-risk environments. As the only AF capability specifically designed to primarily operate as surface combatants, SW Airman directly assist, control, enable, and execute air and space-power capabilities to conduct: Joint Fires Integration, Special Operations, Personnel Recovery, Tactical Airlift Operations, and Special Reconnaissance. T3I, Inc. is seeking a full-time Equipment Maintenance Manager to support SWTW training. The Equipment Maintenance Manager will report to and work for the T3I Program Manager (PM) and be responsible for the up-keep, repair, and replacement cycles for a variety of equipment supporting Strength and Conditioning (Power Racks), Cardiovascular (Row Machines, Stationary Bike, Treadmills), and Recovery/Rehabilitation training (Hot/Cold Tanks, Isolation Tanks). The effectiveness of this position is key to the foundation of SWTW’s training program and essential for the PM’s overall ability to plan, manage, and lead training in support of SWTW. Courses are templated to be 7-weeks long and are conducted 5 times annually.  The position requires the Equipment Maintenance Manager to coordinate with personnel inside and outside of the organization, including both military and civilian organizations.  The Equipment Maintenance Manager must communicate effectively and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Equipment Maintenance Manager must also be a self-starter and require little oversight or management and aggressively seek out solutions to identified problems.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Have three years’ experience performing similar tasks
  • Proficient understanding and working knowledge of computers, e-mail, voicemail, and cell phone texts to perform duties
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing facilities of 50,000 square feet or larger
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing schedules and other administrative functions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for all assigned equipment
  • Establish maintenance and replacement schedules for all training, fitness, recovery, support equipment and materials
  • Conduct periodic maintenance to include (but not limited to) lubrication, repairing non-warranty items, tightening fasteners of all human performance equipment
  • Schedule outside repairs with an authorized and certified repair company based on manufacturer recommendation
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for all hydrotherapy equipment to include maintenance of all chemicals
  • Effectively work with frequent changes, interruptions and varying environmental conditions
  • Provide all necessary reports and correspondence regarding equipment matters to Special Warfare Preparatory Course Program Manager and/or Superintendent
