About The Position

Perhaps one of the most exciting up-and-coming equine tech brands on the market, this brilliant solution for equine wellness monitoring is ready to grow into the Sporthorse markets here in the USA! This technology was designed to provide peace of mind to anyone who owns a horse but can't be by their side 24/7. Using advanced behavioral tracking software, owners/caretakers can receive real-time alerts if a horse starts to exhibit signs of distress, or even just tries to adopt an unfavorable new "quirk". We all know an emergency with horses can go from 0-100mph in a manner of just a few short hours, and this brand aims to bridge the gap so no horse goes unnoticed when they're not feeling their best! With their exciting new expansion into the Sporthorse Markets, this brand is looking for 2 exceptional individuals to bring their product to market at the Wellington Equestrian Festival this winter! They have signed up for an excellent location for the Winter Season, and are looking for a passionate, tech forward, and inviting team to help get the word out. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and interested in advancements in equine welfare. This position will blend strong networking, social media marketing, and of course direct sales and customer service to create a no-pressure, high-quality brand presence at WEF! On average, this can be expected to be a 20-25hr week with pay ranging from $18-20/hr with the possibility for the right candidate to grow into a full-time capacity once the season finishes!

Requirements

  • Strong hunter jumper or sport horse background and comfortable in the WEF environment
  • Prior experience running a vendor stall, event sales, or similar customer facing sales role
  • Extroverted, high energy, and confident starting conversations with new people
  • Polished, professional, and able to represent a premium brand
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working full day shifts on your feet

Responsibilities

  • Open, operate, and close our vendor booth each day (tiki hut), maintaining a clean, polished, premium presentation
  • Proactively greet and engage foot traffic, start conversations, and confidently pitch our products
  • Demonstrate product value clearly to a hunter jumper audience and handle common questions/objections
  • Close sales on the spot and capture customer details for follow up
  • Keep basic daily notes: key conversations, leads, questions, and sales activity
  • Coordinate with the internal team for support (remote and occasional onsite)
