About The Position

The Account Executive, Season Membership Sales role is a full-time sales position focused on selling season memberships for the Tampa Bay Rays. This position will be responsible for selling traditional and flexible memberships, up-selling existing accounts, creating new ideas to increase sales, and performing basic office functions.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree required or comparable work experience
  • Candidate must contain a strong work ethic and organizational skills as well as a desire to build a career in professional sports sales

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1-2 year ticket sales experience preferred
  • Strong cold calling experience preferred
  • ProVenue and Salesforce knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit new and existing business for traditional and flexible season memberships.
  • Responsible for managing all clients’ tickets and information through department ticketing system and database.
  • Complete sales calls, identifying customer needs and interests.
  • Provide exceptional service for new season membership accounts and maintain a strong relationship with existing clients.
  • Manage ticketing and customer service needs for assigned clientele, while actively seeking new ideas to generate revenue.
  • Manage cross-selling of existing accounts including but not limited to spring training, group seating, party areas, and suites.
  • Assist in promotion and sales strategies for business-to-business sales.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Work and perform assigned event-day responsibilities, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Represent the Ticket Sales department at various promotional events as well as in-game sales tables.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
