About The Position
Responsible for supporting the Equine Maintenance Department with a variety of tasks and job duties. Adheres to all Indiana Grand Racing & Casino service and operating standards. Job duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Cleaning all necessary areas for backside track, ensuring all cleanliness standards, maintaining all needs for restroom facilities, trash removal, etc. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License
- Must also be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cleaning, janitorial or housekeeping preferred, but not required.
- Must be familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and possess good interpersonal skills.
