About The Position

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Will review the work of others and be an individual contributor for tasks associated with receiving, preparing, uploading, and keying invoices for accuracy as well as policy and regulatory compliance. Provide prompt and complete resolution for issues and inquiries.

Requirements

• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Understanding of verbiage associated with Accounts Payable.
• 2 years of Accounts Payable experience and/or Accounts Receivable experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete TIN Matching.
• Prepare 1099’s.
• Prepare and maintain the department calendar.
• Monitor monthly performance metrics and make recommendations for efficiencies based on trends.
• Prepare invoices for upload and forward to Ameris AP for keying into AvidAscend 100.
• Forward prepared invoices to Ameris AP for keying into Avid/Ascend 100.
• Key invoices into Avid/Ascend 400 for approval and payment processing via ACH and/or Check.
• Receive/enter wire requests from the Business Center for funding purposes.
• Upload various NACHA files for approval on a daily basis.
• Review and process refund requests.
• Respond to emails and requests received in the AP shared inbox.
• Ensure accurate vendor information is on file and assist in obtaining documentation as appropriate.
• Ad hoc projects assigned per Management.
