Epoxy flooring is a growing part of our business, and our installers are the front line of Floor Coverings International—executing high-quality surface preparation and seamless epoxy installations that define our craftsmanship and reputation. Requirements
- 1-3+ years in flooring installation (epoxy or concrete coatings necessary)
- Valid driver’s license and functioning vehicle
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly
- Position requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking, and lifting
- Ability to work in multiple job locations throughout the week
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship
Responsibilities
- Prep and install epoxy flooring systems according to company procedures with high attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Perform concrete surface preparation including grinding, patching, cleaning, and profiling
- Mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, and related coating systems properly and consistently
- Keep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Understand the full scope of work before arriving on-site and review project details in advance
- Knowledge of units of measurement and ability to complete simple math calculations
- Interact with customers in a friendly, polite, and professional manner; must be trustworthy in a customer’s home
- Ensure high-quality company standards are met on every installation
- Work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every aspect of the job
