About The Position

Epicor Kinetic Specialist / Developer at Harvey Vogel Manufacturing. This role is hands-on, high-impact, and critical to how the business operates day to day, from the shop floor to the front office. The specialist will drive systems that power manufacturing excellence by taking ERP systems to the next level. They will make Kinetic work smarter by driving adoption of Epicor best practices, identifying underused features, partnering with operations, finance, and engineering to remove friction, and turning shop-floor and user feedback into practical system improvements. The role involves building, improving, and delivering solutions, including developing and deploying BPMs, Functions, and Application Studio solutions, leading upgrades, enhancements, and system releases without disrupting production, and ensuring systems talk to each other. They will also create clear, usable procedures and turn data into decisions by building BAQs, dashboards, and SSRS reports that get used, delivering insights for better decision-making, and improving visibility across inventory, costing, production, and financials. Additionally, the specialist will support the business by being a go-to problem solver for ERP challenges, training users effectively, and proactively fixing gaps. They will also drive continuous improvement by helping evaluate new tools and technologies, supporting integration and modernization initiatives, and playing a key role in scaling and growing systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of hands-on Epicor Kinetic development
  • Proven ability to improve processes-not just maintain systems
  • Epicor Kinetic expertise: BAQs, Dashboards, Data Definitions, Report Styles
  • SSRS reporting
  • BPMs, Functions, Application Studio
  • Strong SQL Server and C# skills
  • Experience integrating ERP with other business systems
  • Practical problem solver-you fix what matters
  • Strong communicator who can work with both IT and the shop floor
  • Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Focused on results, not just activity

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-company or multi-currency ERP experience
  • Experience with Epicor modules (Warehouse, QuickShip, DocStar, Financials)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes: Inventory, costing, purchasing, production, and shipping
