About The Position
Seeking an Epic Trainer with strong experience to support scheduling staff training, onboarding, education compliance, and competency programs. This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA. This is a fully onsite position in Chesapeake, VA.
Requirements
- Epic Certification/Credentialing or ability to obtain within one year.
- Previous trainer, educator, lead, or onboarding experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training and onboarding for scheduling staff.
- Serve as the Epic subject matter expert for scheduling workflows.
- Coordinate education sessions, track training completion, and maintain records.
- Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and organizational requirements.
- Develop training materials and provide ongoing staff education.
- Prepare reports and support audit readiness initiatives.
