About The Position

Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an Epic Template Builder for a contract assignment in Tacoma, WA. This role is crucial for a healthcare organization transitioning from NextGen to Epic. The primary focus will be on template build, system support, and data entry to ensure a smooth conversion process. This is a full-time, project-based role supporting the Epic conversion.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Epic template or content build experience
• Minimum 5 years working in an Epic environment (super user or similar role)
• Experience supporting Epic implementations or system conversions preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams

Responsibilities

• Design and build scheduling templates in Epic for clinical and support staff
• Work with internal teams to identify template needs and timelines
• Update and adjust templates based on staffing and operational changes
• Perform manual data entry and migration tasks within Epic
• Support staff with best practices and guidance on Epic scheduling workflows
• Collaborate with IT and project teams throughout the system transition
