Requirements

  • Relevant work experience required in area where Epic build will be supported
  • As part of the Associate Analyst role at SSM, candidates are required to obtain Epic certification within the first six (6) months of employment.
  • Associates will be provided with up to three (3) attempts to successfully pass the Epic certification exam.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the team in service line Epic functionality and integrated third-party applications.
  • Supports best practices for the business and works closely with stakeholders to define the technical systems and enhancements needed to deliver business results.
  • Conducts research on possible solutions and makes recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepares proposals that outline feasibility, scalability and costs.
  • Suggests, designs, tests, implements, and evaluates solutions.
  • Codes for multiple Epic applications including building application tables and reports.
  • Tests build to ensure quality delivery to business partners.
  • Assists the team members in researching complex service line problems; researches innovative solutions for business needs.
  • Partners with team members to develop networks with other teams, divisions and operational leaders to triage complicated business problems and issues.
  • Supports discovery for best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves integrated issues crossing applications and works with vendors to solve issues.
  • Organizes requirement specifications using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision making.
  • Assists in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.
  • Partners with technology service center to ensure high first call response rate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
