The EPIC Support Site Specialist is part of the Clinical & Quality Services department reporting directly to the EPIC Support Manager. This role essentially functions at the center of 3 entities, Premier Physician Companies, IT (Information Technology), and PIP Business Development, to coordinate the needs of offices and the providers’ use of EPIC EHR. The position supports both employed and affiliated practices on EPIC. Nature and Scope The EPIC Support Site Specialist will assist practices to develop, optimize, and implement workflow improvements that will standardize the process by which wellness; preventive, acute and chronic care is delivered through the EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR). The candidate will work to ensure that practices have the support necessary to achieve optimum use of EPIC, and for the implementation of best practice workflows.
