About The Position

The Epic Revenue Systems Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, optimization, testing, and support of Epic applications that support patient access, patient throughput, revenue cycle, health information management, patient engagement, scheduling, and specialty operational workflows. This position partners with operational leaders, revenue cycle teams, clinical departments, Information Technology, and third-party vendors to ensure Epic applications support efficient patient movement, accurate reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient experiences. The Analyst serves as the primary application expert for assigned Epic applications and is responsible for workflow analysis, application configuration, integrated testing, issue resolution, optimization, upgrades, and ongoing production support throughout the application life-cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, Nursing, Finance, or a related field required. Four (4) years of relevant operational experience may be used in lieu of a four-year degree. Equivalent combinations of education and healthcare information systems experience may be considered.
  • Three (3) years of healthcare operations, revenue cycle, patient access, health information management, and/or healthcare information systems experience.
  • Epic certification must be obtained and maintained according to organizational requirements.
  • Applicants must complete an EPIC assessment as part of the hiring process.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
  • On-call coverage for weeknights and weekends may be required after project go-live.
  • ETO may be restricted during major project events and transition-readiness activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting electronic health record (EHR) applications preferred.
