About The Position

The Epic Radiant Analyst will play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Radiant as part of a new Epic implementation. This role partners closely with radiology leadership, clinical end users, and IT teams to ensure Epic Radiant workflows are designed, built, tested, and deployed to support safe, efficient, and high‑quality imaging services across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong Epic build experience, deep understanding of radiology workflows, and proven participation in at least one full Epic implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Epic Radiant application analyst for a new Epic implementation
  • Participate in project phases including planning, design, build, testing, training support, go‑live, and post‑go‑live stabilization
  • Configure and maintain Epic Radiant functionality, including: Orders, procedures, protocols, and exam records
  • Modality and device setup
  • Scheduling, registries, and reporting workflows
  • Integration points with PACS, imaging devices, and other Epic modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Cadence, Prelude)
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, build specifications, and workflow diagrams
  • Partner with radiologists, technologists, schedulers, and operational leaders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic solutions
  • Lead or support workflow design sessions and validation reviews
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement best practices aligned with Epic standards
  • Develop and execute unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing plans
  • Assist with training materials, personalization, and end‑user readiness activities
  • Provide at‑the‑elbow support during go‑live and early stabilization periods
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with Epic and internal teams as needed
  • Support ongoing optimization, upgrades, and enhancement requests post‑implementation
  • Ensure system changes align with governance, security, and change‑management processes
