The Epic IT Capability team within Optum Insight Information Technology is responsible for the system build, configuration, and ongoing support of Epic Patient Access applications, including registration, scheduling, admission, transfer, and discharge. This ensures system functionality aligns with operational, regulatory, and business requirements. As a System Management Analyst on the Patient Access team, this role involves partnering with vendors, technical teams, and operational stakeholders to analyze existing Epic system configurations, gather and document business requirements, and design new or enhance Epic build. The goal is to optimize, standardize, and automate workflows to support operational needs. The analyst plays a key role in the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic solutions for Optum IT capability. Strong expertise in Epic, workflow analysis, and problem-solving is essential for the success of enterprise EHR initiatives. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.
