About The Position

This role involves providing regular status reports to management, leading meetings, and participating on committees. The analyst will engage in customer discussions, offering suggestions and recommendations while maintaining a positive image under demanding and stressful situations. Key responsibilities include organizing discovery sessions to identify operational needs, mentoring other analysts, and working independently on all tasks. This includes facilitating internal and external customer meetings, analyzing customer-reported problems to determine corrective actions and provide feedback, and collaborating with IT and Empower teams to find solutions. The analyst will also identify optimal methods for build and report distribution, build and maintain Reporting Workbench reports, and interpret data to provide actionable recommendations. Additionally, the role requires ensuring department documentation is up-to-date, performing application and integration testing, and conducting validation testing with end users for new build components or optimization projects. Understanding and analyzing Epic workflows, assisting in translating workflow-based report requests to data points, and supporting integration with third-party applications are also crucial.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more Epic Certifications in Patient Access related applications - Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Welcome, Referrals, Eligibility (RTE)

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular status reports to management as required
  • Lead meetings as required and participate on committees as directed
  • Participate in customer discussion offering suggestions and recommendations
  • Maintain a positive image when dealing with deadlines and demanding, highly stressful situations
  • Organize discovery sessions to identify the operational needs of the organization
  • Mentor analysts dedicated to assigned application
  • Work independently on all tasks, including but not limited to facilitation of both internal and external customer meetings
  • Analyze any customer-reported problems to determine corrective action and provide timely feedback
  • Work with all IT and Empower teams to identify appropriate solutions for various operational and technical needs
  • Identify the most appropriate methods for build and report distribution
  • Build and maintain Reporting Workbench reports
  • Answer questions by interpreting data at a deeper level and providing actionable recommendations
  • Ensure department documentation is at current levels
  • Perform application and integration testing for the assigned module
  • Perform validation testing with end users to gain operational acceptance and feedback to new build components/optimization projects
  • Understand and can analyze Epic workflows
  • Assist with translation of workflow based report requests to specific data points required for report development
  • Support integration with third party applications, when applicable
