About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring an Epic Data Engineer for a remote position. This role involves building and maintaining analytic solutions on both traditional on-premises and cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who can transform raw data into reliable datasets. This role is responsible for expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Must have epic certifications: Cogito Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Data Model
  • At least five years of relevant experience developing and supporting applications, and/or system development lifecycle including coding, testing, and implementation required
  • Effective and self-sufficient in working within a diverse technology portfolio
  • Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve systems problems
  • Must have: Cogito, Clarity Data model, Caboodle Data Model
  • Strong Experience in Programming
  • Well-versed with concepts and techniques of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interpret technical requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Epic certifications in Cogito Tools Administration or Caboodle Development for Clarity Data or Caboodle Development for Non-Epic Data

Responsibilities

  • Develops, tests, and deploys ELT / ETL processes across multiple sources, targets and tools with no supervision.
  • Provides support and recommendations to intermediary level engineers to enhance their technical skills.
  • Collaborates with data consumers of varying skill levels on available data sources and potential biases within datasets.
  • Provides operational and ad-hoc support for systems and applications troubleshooting and maintenance for incidents related to data warehouses, datasets and data pipelines.
  • Participates in the design, development, and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Adheres to the team's application of best practices and organizational standards of the Software Development Lifecycle to ensure high quality and reliable data assets.
  • Follows the organizational standards and laws governing use of sensitive data relating to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Develops Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) processes focused on acceleration of value delivery and minimizing manual touchpoints.
  • Participates in enterprise-wide Agile ceremonies determining and recommending technical programming approaches and solutions to complex applications.
  • Works independently or collaboratively to capture, document, and groom features and stories for planning and execution.
