About The Position

The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Credentialed Trainer I plans and delivers learning experiences for end users at healthcare organizations. This role uses expertise in Epic, adult education, and curriculum design to deliver core curriculum training, Epic seasonal release and enhancement training, and additional training workshops, programs and services to multiple healthcare organizations. Your work will help integrate training into daily workflows, driving measurable improvements in clinical and business outcomes. Requirements

  • Generally requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Education, IT Related Field, or equivalent industry experience and 1-2 years of related experience or 5 years of related experience and no degree.
  • Familiarity with blended learning and a variety of education delivery systems including classroom, web, self-paced, social, etc. a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to operate a variety of audiovisual equipment.
  • Strong, client-relations skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • 2+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent IT application training position in lieu of degree requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Complete client-specific Credentialed Trainer programs to demonstrate application and workflow knowledge
  • Achieve necessary certifications and follow learning paths to ensure ongoing growth.
  • Ability to work independently with manager supervision.
  • Collaborate with healthcare organization leaders, IT teams, and operations regarding training needs, future projects and initiatives, and more.
  • Conduct basic project management tasks such as scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes.
  • Maintain and update training content for the EHR integrated with clinical, operational, and identified business strategies that focus on improving the quality of the patient experience.
  • Deliver a variety of training programs to diverse audiences, including Epic users and leadership teams.
  • Delivers learning experiences in virtual/blended environments to meet customer needs.
  • Plan and perform administrative functions related to training, including learning management system tasks such as creating classes, enrolling users, and marking completion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, both internal and external
  • Conduct training surveys to gather feedback; review evaluative data and identify and enact recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare organizations to ensure curriculum and training environment build are accurate and ready for use.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix team, engaging and interacting in a positive manner, retaining flexibility and maintain composure under pressure, acute attention to detail and accuracy.
