About The Position

The Epic Certified Cupid Analyst will be responsible for building, configuring, testing, and maintaining Epic clinical applications, specifically focusing on modules like Cupid, Ambulatory, Inpatient, ClinDoc, Orders, Willow, and ASAP. This role involves supporting clinical workflows such as documentation, order entry, medication management, care planning, and clinical decision support. The analyst will troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions. They will also participate in Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives. A key aspect of the role is partnering with various healthcare teams, including physicians, nursing, ancillary departments, quality, safety, and operations, to translate clinical and operational needs into Epic configurations. The analyst will facilitate workflow design sessions and act as a subject matter expert for Epic clinical functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field, RN preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or clinical operations supporting Epic
  • Experience with application support, troubleshooting, testing, and change management
  • Understanding of clinical workflows in assigned clinical module(s)
  • Clinical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions
  • Strong collaboration and customer-service mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality, and clinician experience
  • Epic certification required

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, test, and maintain Epic clinical applications (e.g., Cupid, Ambulatory, Inpatient, ClinDoc, Orders, Willow, ASAP, etc., based on assigned module)
  • Support clinical workflows including documentation, order entry, medication management, care planning, and clinical decision support.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, enhancements, and system optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with physicians, nursing, ancillary departments, quality, safety, and operations teams to translate clinical and operational needs into Epic configuration and technical build.
  • Facilitate workflow design sessions and serve as a subject matter expert for Epic clinical functionality.
